ATHA Energy Launches Diamond Drilling for Extensive 2026 Angilak Program
ATHA Energy Corp has mobilized its resources for the 2026 Angilak Exploration Program, following a CAD $63 million financing. The initiative, the largest at the Angilak Uranium Project, involves diamond drilling and aerial geophysics. Drilling commenced on May 1, 2026, with three rigs targeting the Mineralized RIB, Lac 50 Deposit, and KU-Nine Iron corridors, aiming to complete 20,000 meters by September.
The program seeks to expand uranium mineralization, building on the success of past campaigns. Notably, 2025 saw discoveries in the RIB Corridor. The geophysics component includes an aerial MMT survey to enhance target development across the Angikuni Basin. Results from these operations are expected to shape the project's next phases.
