AT&S and Marvell Expand Partnership to Boost AI Infrastructure

AT&S Austria Technologie & Systemtechnik AG has announced an extended collaboration with Marvell Technology to enhance IC substrate capacity for AI and cloud infrastructure. This long-term agreement aims to support Marvell's increasing demand for advanced substrates as AI applications expand. AT&S's Kulim manufacturing site will play a crucial role in meeting this demand.

The expansion is part of a strategic collaboration, emphasizing the significance of advanced IC substrates in more complex semiconductor designs. The development at Kulim includes equipping Plant 2 and creating a new manufacturing facility. These moves are backed by long-term customer commitments, ensuring additional capacity for IC substrate and packaging demand.

AT&S CEO, Michael Mertin, highlighted the importance of this milestone in their relationship with Marvell, emphasizing shared goals of innovation and value creation. Marvell's Vinay Krishna stressed the partnership's role in securing necessary manufacturing capacity amid AI infrastructure growth.
