Austrian Post Reports Revenue Growth Amid Market Challenges in H1 2026

Austrian Post has reported a 3.8% revenue increase in the first half of 2026, reaching EUR 1,544.0 million despite a challenging geopolitical and economic environment. Growth in the e-commerce sector, particularly through its E-Commerce & Logistics division, which saw an 11.5% revenue rise to EUR 910.9 million, is a significant contributor to this positive performance.

The mail business, by contrast, has faced declines, with revenues falling by 7.4% to EUR 566.1 million due to structural changes. Despite overall revenue growth, EBITDA dropped to EUR 187.7 million, and EBIT declined by 22.0% to EUR 73.3 million, reflecting challenges in the mail sector and increased competition.

Austrian Post's strategic initiatives, including mobile network expansion and international acquisitions, aim to strengthen future performance. Despite the current market complexities, the company maintains a steady outlook for slight revenue growth in 2026.
