Autodesk Expands Agentic AI in Industry Clouds
Autodesk unveiled new agentic AI features within its three industry clouds: Autodesk Forma, Fusion, and Flow, at Autodesk University 2026. These enhancements aim to turn connected industry data into actionable project intelligence. Autodesk Assistant is being extended beyond individual tools to improve project collaboration across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and entertainment sectors.
Designed to enhance user control, the next-generation Autodesk Assistant experience integrates specialized AI capabilities across various products and projects. This approach combines project intelligence with design and engineering functions to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Autodesk’s industry clouds—Forma, Fusion, and Flow—provide the context needed to seamlessly convert ideas into real-world processes.
Andrew Anagnost, CEO of Autodesk, highlighted the AI's role in managing capacity constraints and maintaining accuracy. Marius Jablonskis from Norconsult echoed its potential in simplifying workflow processes. The company also introduced Autodesk AI Orchestrator to optimize task-specific models, ensuring reliable project outcomes. The broader functionality of this system is anticipated in 2027.
