Avolta Secures 12-Year Concession at Riga Airport

Avolta AG has signed a 12-year master concession contract at Riga Airport, marking its entry into the Baltic region. This agreement will see Avolta develop a comprehensive travel retail and food & beverage (F&B) strategy across the airport. The deal includes eight retail stores and 22 F&B outlets, positioning Avolta for growth alongside Riga Airport's planned expansions.

Avolta's retail strategy includes a main walkthrough duty-free store and a new hybrid store called Spirit of Latvia, which will feature local products. The F&B offerings will highlight Latvian brands like Kalve and international names, including Espresso House.

The company's President and CEO EMEA, Luis Marin, expressed enthusiasm for the opportunity to implement Avolta's integrated retail and F&B models at Riga Airport. Laila Odina of Riga Airport welcomed Avolta, noting the company's ability to enhance the passenger experience with quality services.
