AXA Initiates Share Buyback to Mitigate Dilution from Employee Share Offering

On October 1, 2026, AXA announced the execution of a share repurchase agreement to counteract the dilutive impact of its 2026 employee share offering, known as Shareplan 2026. Through this initiative, AXA plans to buy back its shares up to a maximum of EUR 470,800,000. This move aligns with AXA’s ongoing share repurchase program approved by the General Shareholders' Meeting earlier this year.

The share buyback price will be determined using the arithmetic average of the daily volume-weighted average AXA share prices, calculated over 20 trading days starting October 2, 2026. The transactions associated with this buyback are set to conclude no later than October 29, 2026.

Shareplan 2026 had previously received authorization during AXA's General Shareholders’ Meeting on April 30, 2026. The initiative represents AXA’s commitment to managing shareholder value effectively.
