AXA Reports 5% Growth in 9M26 Activity Indicators
AXA reported a solid 5% growth in gross written premiums and other revenues, reaching €93 billion in the first nine months of 2026 compared to 9M25. This increase was fueled by a 3% rise in Property & Casualty premiums and a robust 7% increase in Life & Health premiums.
The Group maintained a strong Solvency II ratio of 213% as of September 30, 2026, despite a 5-point decrease from June 30, 2026, primarily due to adverse financial market conditions. AXA anticipates underlying earnings of approximately €8.6 billion for 2026, with a focus on achieving an underlying EPS growth at the upper end of the target range of 6-8%.
AXA's Chief Financial Officer, Alban de Mailly Nesle, highlighted the resilience of their business model in managing market volatility and emphasized their strategy for future growth despite challenges, such as increased natural catastrophe activity in Europe.
