Azarga Metals Mobilizes for Drilling at Marg Project, Yukon
Azarga Metals Corp. has announced the mobilization of a drill rig and equipment for its diamond drilling program at the Marg Project, located in central Yukon, Canada. The program is set to start later this month, focusing on high-priority exploration targets identified through previous studies. The aim is to expand known mineralized zones containing copper, zinc, gold, silver, and lead.
The initial phase consists of over 3,000 meters of drilling across eight priority holes. This will target both extensions of previous mineralized intercepts and historical anomalies. There is potential for expansion to the east, west, and down-dip. An anticlinal fold within the Marg deposit may offer further fold-related opportunities.
The Marg Project, a VMS deposit, is located 40 km east of Keno City and incorporates 400 claims over 8,400 hectares. Acquired in July 2025, the project has excellent infrastructure, including an air strip and proximity to established mining operations. Historical work includes 119 diamond drill holes conducted up to 2008.
