Aztec Minerals Expands Oxide Gold-Silver Zone at Tombstone Project
Aztec Minerals Corp. has reported promising drilling results from its Tombstone Property in Southeastern Arizona. The step-out drilling in the Contention Zone has expanded the oxide gold-silver mineralization both horizontally and vertically. Notably, drill hole TR26-30 intersected 155.4 meters averaging 1.08 gpt Au and 30.23 gpt Ag (1.63 gpt AuEq), showcasing significant continuity at depth.
CEO Simon Dyakowski emphasized the growth potential of the Tombstone Project, with the latest program revealing strong near-surface oxide gold and silver grades. The drilling has extended the known mineralization and unveiled new targets at adjacent locations such as Hard Up and East Grand Central.
Further highlights include multiple intersections at various sites. Drill hole TR26-21 at Independence Mine and TR26-23 in the Hard Up area also showed mineralization, supporting potential expansion of these sites. This drilling success reinforces Aztec's strategic exploration approach.
