Merger announced between Helvetia and Baloise Asset Management
Helvetia Baloise plans to merge its asset management entities, Helvetia Asset Management SA and Baloise Asset Management SA. This merger, in accordance with Article 3 of the Swiss Merger Act (LFus), will result in the universal transfer of assets and liabilities from Helvetia Asset Management SA to Baloise Asset Management SA, scheduled to take effect in mid-2026. Helvetia Asset Management SA will then be removed from the commercial register. Despite the merger, Helvetia's technical infrastructure will be maintained to ensure continuity of services for investors.
Furthermore, the management of the Helvetia (CH) Swiss Property Fund will be transferred to Baloise, while remaining under the supervision of FINMA. Investors will be informed of the details of this management change. This merger will not affect existing investment solutions. Finally, the necessary approvals, particularly from FINMA, are still pending before the merger can be completed.
