Banyan Gold Appoints Patrick Langlois as VP for Strategy and Development
Banyan Gold Corp. has appointed Patrick Langlois as Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. This decision, effective March 30, 2026, is aimed at strengthening the company's management team. Langlois brings over 25 years of experience in mining, focusing on corporate development and strategic M&A. His notable past achievements include overseeing transactions worth $1.3 billion in the gold sector.
Langlois previously held the position of CFO at Probe Gold Inc., where he played a pivotal role in significant deals, including its sale to Fresnillo plc for $780 million. At Banyan, he is set to work closely with CEO Tara Christie on driving corporate strategy, especially focusing on the advancement of the AurMac Project.
The AurMac Project represents one of Canada's largest undeveloped gold resources, with promising exploration potential. A Preliminary Economic Assessment is anticipated in the latter half of 2026. Langlois’s leadership is expected to drive the project's evaluation and execution, enhancing shareholder value.
