Banyan Gold Discovers High-Grade Mineralization at Nitra Project
Banyan Gold Corp. has announced significant discoveries at its Nitra Gold Project in Yukon. The exploration revealed visible gold and high-grade mineralization within two zones—Roaring Fork and Seattle Creek, indicating potential new deposits. The Roaring Fork zone returned a notable 1.62 g/t Au over 5 meters, with a peak of 17.80 g/t Au over 0.4 meters.
The Seattle Creek zone, situated 5 kilometers north of Roaring Fork, also demonstrated promising results, revealing multiple instances of visible gold. These findings are part of a broader greenfields exploration effort targeting 11 sites using advanced geophysical surveys and soil geochemical data.
Banyan's ambitious drilling initiative aims to test connections with nearby placer mining sites, utilizing two helicopter-supported drills to minimize environmental impact. A third drill is being deployed to accelerate exploration efforts, aiming to discover additional Reduced Intrusion-Related Gold Systems within its extensive 830 sq km AurMac and Nitra properties.
