Banyan Gold Intersects High-Grade Gold in Yukon Project
Banyan Gold Corp. announced significant results from 21 diamond drill holes at the Powerline Deposit, part of the AurMac Project in the Yukon Territory. Notably, drill hole AX-24-582 yielded an impressive 32.6 meters of gold grading 2.13 grams per tonne (g/t) beginning from a depth of 14 meters.
These findings were the product of Banyan's 2024 AurMac definition drilling program, targeting the eastern sector of the Powerline Deposit. The results underscore the prospect of higher-grade mineralization, bolstered by geological correlations with stratigraphy and comprehensive geophysical analyses.
Tara Christie, President and CEO, remarked on the substantial insights gained into the potential for expanded mineral exploration—increasing the viability of gold resources beyond the forthcoming 2025 update.
