Banyan Gold Expands AurMac Project with Strategic Claim Purchase

Banyan Gold Corp. has announced the purchase of the Trail Minto Claims, closing a district consolidation around its AurMac Project in Yukon. This acquisition adds 46 square kilometers, linking the AurMac and Nitra properties into a 720 sq km contiguous land package. This transaction involved $1 million in cash and a 2% net smelter royalty payable to Mayo Lake Minerals, with the option to reduce it to 1% for another $1 million.

The acquired claims indicate potential for reduced intrusion-related gold mineralization. This expands Banyan's strategic footprint and enhances prospects for future exploration. The AurMac Project already hosts a significant mineral resource of over 7.7 million ounces of gold. Additionally, the Yukon-B.C. Grid Connect initiative could further propel regional development, potentially leading to major economic growth and energy improvements.
