Barton Gold Expands Tolmer Silver Drilling Program
Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced an expansion of its reverse circulation (RC) drilling program in the Tolmer silver zone at the Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. Initially planned at 2,500 meters, the drilling program now extends to 2,850 meters due to promising early results. The company prioritizes this newly discovered high-grade silver zone, delaying further gold drilling activities.
Significant intervals have been identified in the silver zone, with notable assays in several discovery holes. Drilling operations, which include reassigned drills originally intended for the eastern gold zone, aim to produce more extensive data to potentially guide follow-up drilling as early as late July.
Barton's Managing Director, Alexander Scanlon, emphasized the swift progression towards analyzing silver assays to inform strategic next steps, including potential diamond drilling for structural insights.
