Barton Gold Confirms High-Grade Silver at Tolmer Gold System

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has announced the discovery of high-grade silver within the Tolmer gold system at their Tarcoola Gold Project in South Australia. Recent assays report silver grades up to 312 g/t Ag and gold grades reaching 83.6 g/t Au. These findings were confirmed through multi-element analyses, which identified the presence of silver in both the system’s weathered zone and primary gold-sulphide veins, alongside elevated lead and zinc levels.

The assays stem from reverse circulation (RC) drilling conducted between May and July 2024, with significant results from select holes confirming high silver values. Follow-up drilling has commenced to further explore and extend the definition of the mineralisation within the system.

The confirmed presence of silver offers potential benefits for future mining operations, possibly serving as a high-grade blending feed with the neighbouring Tunkillia Gold Project, which also reports significant silver credits. Barton's ongoing efforts include a new RC drilling campaign designed to expand on these promising results.
