Infrastructure Drilling Commences at Barton's Tunkillia Project

Barton Gold Holdings Limited has initiated sterilisation drilling at its Tunkillia Gold Project in South Australia. The project aims to assess potential sites for infrastructure such as waste dumps and processing plants to avoid constructing over valuable mineral resources. A Pre-feasibility Study (PFS) is underway, targeting a publication date in Q1 2027, and is part of Barton's efforts to support a Mining Lease application and financing for large-scale gold and silver production.

The drilling is a follow-up to the completion of 57,653 meters of reverse circulation and diamond drilling aimed at upgrading resources to higher JORC categories. Barton's Tunkillia project is anticipated to have robust economic outcomes with estimated annual production of 120,000 ounces of gold and 260,000 ounces of silver. The project is expected to generate a Net Present Value (NPV) of approximately A$1.4 billion with an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 73.2%.
