New Assays Extend Tolmer Silver Discovery Footprint
Barton Gold Holdings Limited has reported new high-grade assays from the Tolmer silver discovery in South Australia. Recent drilling of 3,677 meters helped expand the 'western silver zone' and 'eastern gold zone', demonstrating significant high-grade intersections.
The 'western silver zone' now boasts high-grade assays exceeding 2,000g-m Ag, extending the mineralised strike to over 500 meters. Notably, results like 10m at 399 g/t Ag from hole TBM0258 show the area's potential. Meanwhile, the 'eastern gold zone' yielded broad, high-grade intersections, with notable gold assays reaching up to 28.9 g/t.
Metallurgical and structural analyses are underway, with Barton planning updates on its findings. The company emphasizes the promising future of Tolmer's shallow, accessible silver and gold assets, hinting at a potential low-cost, high-margin operation.
