Bastide Group sells Baywater Healthcare to Sapio Group
Bastide Group has announced the sale of its UK subsidiary, Baywater Healthcare, to Sapio Group. Baywater, the UK's leading provider of respiratory assistance, has doubled its revenue since 2018, reaching nearly €60 million by 2025. This sale is part of Bastide's debt reduction strategy, which plans to reduce its financial leverage to below 3x, compared to 3.48x by the end of 2024.
For Sapio, this acquisition is an important step in its "Inspire" plan, aimed at strengthening its presence in the healthcare sector in Europe. The necessary approvals are expected in the third quarter of 2025.
