Battery X Metals Advances Y Lithium Project with NI 43-101 Technical Report
Battery X Metals has filed a NI 43-101 Technical Report for its Y Lithium Project, marking progress in its 2025 critical battery metal exploration program. Located near Bailey Lake, Saskatchewan, the project benefits from a recently conducted high-resolution LiDAR and orthophoto survey. This survey has qualified for a 1.5x exploration expenditure credit, significantly reducing 2025 expenses to approximately CAD $58,559.
The Y Lithium Project is situated within the Ennadai Greenstone Belt. It is close to a known lithium- and tantalum-bearing pegmatite discovery, signaling potential for lithium mineralization. Battery X Metals aims to integrate LiDAR data with government datasets to guide future exploration.
A Phase I exploration program is proposed for 2026 with activities including geological mapping and sampling. The exact costs remain uncertain but are estimated at CAD $93,850.
