Guy Bettschart, CFA, joins as a Senior Healthcare Equity Research Analyst, while Dr. Markus Schweiger becomes a Healthcare Equity Research Analyst. This strategic move aims to bolster Bellevue’s capabilities in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
Bettschart has over six years of experience in the financial industry, including significant roles at Kieger AG and Julius Baer. Dr. Schweiger adds extensive expertise in medical and biological sciences, having worked as a biotech analyst in New York.
Terence McManus, Bellevue's Head of Global Healthcare, stated that the new hires enhance their biopharma research capabilities. The healthcare sector has recently seen improved investor sentiment and stock performance, partly due to clearer US government policies on drug pricing.
