Berkeley SkyDeck and Mayfield Foster AI Student Entrepreneurs
Berkeley SkyDeck and UC Berkeley have partnered with Mayfield to offer AI-focused student entrepreneurs access to capital and mentorship. This initiative, part of the Mayfield AI Garage, includes resources from NVIDIA and Microsoft for Startups. Students will be selected to win a $25,000 stipend per founder, acceptance into the Pad-13 incubator at SkyDeck, NVIDIA's Inception Program, and up to $350,000 in Microsoft Azure credits.
Navin Chaddha, Managing Partner at Mayfield, emphasized the importance of providing foundational support in AI entrepreneurship. The program aims to nurture innovative ideas from UC Berkeley's promising talent. Applications are open until February 28, 2025, with the first cohort announced by April 15, 2025. The program spans May to November 2025.
