Weiqiao Pioneering Group and Weiqiao Town: A Path to Revitalization
A symposium held in Zouping, Shandong, spotlighted the revitalization of Weiqiao Town. Emphasizing urban quality, livelihood upgrades, and industrial empowerment, this event outlined growth plans for the town. Zhang Bo, Chairman of Weiqiao Pioneering Group, highlighted the company's commitment to its hometown's development.
Launched in February 2025, the initiative has fostered significant economic growth. From January to May 2026, Weiqiao Town saw a 6.97% increase in industrial output value and a 168.23% rise in fixed-asset investment. Tax revenue also marked substantial gains.
The Weiqiao Pioneering Group has played a pivotal role, introducing 28 industrial projects and reserving electrolytic aluminum capacity to bolster the local industry. The group has also contributed RMB 186 million to public welfare initiatives, enhancing education, healthcare, and infrastructure in the region.
