BIO-UV Group and Chantiers de l'Atlantique successfully complete a ballast water treatment project
BIO-UV Group has confirmed the success of its partnership with Chantiers de l'Atlantique to equip five cruise ships with ballast water treatment systems. The latest ship, delivered to Saint-Nazaire, is equipped with the BIO-SEA B series system, capable of treating 250 m³/h. All the ships involved now have this UV technology.
BIO-UV Group was chosen for its ability to offer reliable, chemical-free treatment. Maxime Dedeurwaerder, Sales Director, emphasizes that this project illustrates the cruise industry's confidence in this technology, which is essential in the face of stricter environmental standards.
