BioVersys Unveils BV100 Phase 2 Data at IDWeek 2026

BioVersys AG, a clinical stage biopharmaceutical company, has showcased Phase 2 data for its BV100 drug at IDWeek 2026, held in Washington, DC. BV100, an investigational treatment for ventilator-associated bacterial pneumonia (VABP) caused by carbapenem-resistant Acinetobacter baumannii, demonstrated efficacy and safety in 26 patients. These findings were presented in rapid fire and poster sessions by Dr. Andrew F. Shorr from Medstar Washington Hospital Center.
