Bloomberg Enhances ASKB with AI integration

Bloomberg announced the launch of an enhanced ASKB, their conversational AI interface for the Bloomberg Terminal. This innovation allows financial professionals to incorporate their own Instant Bloomberg (IB) chats, Worksheets, and files into ASKB's AI system. The integration aims to provide unique, trustworthy insights by merging personal knowledge with Bloomberg's market data.

Wayne Barlow, Bloomberg's Global Head of Core Terminal Products, emphasized the importance of integrating personal communication, watchlists, and research with market data for more informed decision-making. ASKB can now process 40 million daily IB chats, offering analysis insights previously scattered or overlooked.

Further, users can query their Worksheets and uploaded files directly within ASKB, receiving responses based on a blend of their own content and Bloomberg's extensive data. This capability enables more efficient source gathering and analysis, helping users focus more on analytical insights instead of data searching.
