BRAIN Biotech Expands European Operations and Acquires Full Ownership of Breatec B.V.

BRAIN Biotech AG has completed the buyout of minority shares in its Dutch subsidiary, Breatec B.V. This acquisition makes Breatec B.V. fully owned by BRAIN Biotech AG. To accommodate growing demands in the flour and bakery enzymes sector, BRAIN Biotech announced a new production site near Eindhoven, Netherlands. This location will serve as an integrated production and warehousing hub, featuring an expanded Baking Application Center focusing on enzyme-based applications.

The company plans to close its Büttelborn, Germany site, transferring operations to the new Dutch facility. This move is expected to generate synergies by consolidating production. As part of this transition, BRAIN Biotech aims to enhance customer service through a centralized European hub. Although some staff reductions are expected in Büttelborn, the changes aim to optimize production and strengthen customer interactions.
