Branicks Group AG: Bond Maturity Extension Approved
Branicks Group AG has announced that its noteholders have approved crucial resolutions to manage a EUR 400 million bond set to mature soon. In a vote held between August 15 and August 17, 2026, the bondholders consented to appoint MR Treuhand GmbH as their joint representative. This decision grants the new representative the authority to waive certain termination rights and delay bond repayment until comprehensive restructuring plans are finalized.
The approved modifications include extending the bond's maturity date to December 31, 2026, with a further extension option to March 31, 2027. Achieving a qualified majority of at least 75% of votes, the required quorum was comfortably met with participation from over half of the bondholders.
Branicks plans a subsequent vote without a meeting to negotiate the terms of a full restructuring. The company aims to secure financial stability through this process and short-term bridge financing worth EUR 35 million, as outlined in recent lock-up agreements.
