Brenmiller Energy to Collaborate on Thermal Energy Storage in Japan

Brenmiller Energy Ltd., a leader in thermal energy storage (TES) solutions, has signed a non-binding Memorandum of Understanding with a major Japanese engineering company. This collaboration aims to promote sustainable heating solutions in Japan, highlighting the shared commitment to energy transition and decarbonization.

The Japanese company will utilize its expertise in project development and energy transition to explore opportunities for implementing Brenmiller's TES technology. This includes replacing fossil-fueled boilers with zero-emission systems, as well as promoting both direct sales and Heat-as-a-Service models.

This partnership seeks to accelerate Japan's decarbonization efforts, leveraging the country's renewable energy penetration. The collaboration represents a significant market opportunity for both companies.
