BTU Metals Launches Geophysical Program at Dixie East Property

BTU Metals Corp., a junior mining exploration company, has commenced a geophysical program at its Dixie East project in Red Lake, Ontario. The initiative seeks to identify specific drill target locations on this recently acquired property, located 5 km east of Kinross Gold's Great Bear deposit.

Dixie East, encompassing a strategic land package with east-trending geological features, remains largely unexplored for LP Fault-style gold mineralization despite its potential. The property has not seen drilling activities for over 25 years, with past exploration focused primarily on base metals.

BTU Metals plans to commence drilling three properties in 2026, including Dixie East and Hubcap in Wawa, Ontario. The company, in partnership with Kinross, aims to tap significant opportunities in the Ontario gold exploration market, enhancing its asset portfolio with no outstanding debts or major obligations.
