Bybit Introduces IPO Express for Tokenized IPO Access

Bybit, the world's second-largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, has launched Bybit IPO Express. This makes it one of the first centralized crypto exchanges to offer tokenized IPOs at the offering price. The initiative starts with SpaceX as the inaugural offering. Bybit's platform, powered by Payward Services' xStocks, allows eligible retail investors to subscribe to tokenized representations of publicly traded equities.

The launch represents a merging of traditional capital markets and crypto infrastructure, enabling broader access to IPOs historically restricted to institutional investors and select partners. Bybit's platform offers retail investors the chance to participate in IPO subscriptions directly, bypassing traditional brokerage accounts. SpaceX will be the first major IPO available on this platform.
