Cairn Homes Reports Robust H1 2026 Performance
Cairn Homes Plc announced significant progress in their H1 2026 trading update. The company saw a 60% increase in revenue year-on-year, reaching approximately €450 million from 1,130 units. This boost reflects a strong cash flow and confidence in full-year guidance. The order book expanded to about 4,800 homes valued at €1.8 billion, underscoring solid sales momentum.
The introduction of their Croí Cónaithe development propelled sales, with over 150 new apartments sold. Cairn's investment has supported new site commencements, now active on 26 sites across major Irish cities. Build cost inflation is maintained at 2.5%. Notably, the company launched its first Passive House standard homes in Donabate, signaling commitment to sustainable construction.
Looking forward, Cairn anticipates delivering 6,000 new homes across 2026 and 2027, addressing Ireland’s housing shortage. The company reaffirms its FY26 revenue guidance of €1.05 – €1.08 billion and operating profit of €180 – €185 million.
