Camino Minerals Corp Announces Dual Private Placements Totaling C$14.5 Million
Camino Minerals Corp, based in Vancouver, has unveiled its plans for a combined private placement to raise C$14.5 million. This includes a brokered offering of up to 12 million units priced at C$0.42 each, projected to generate C$5.04 million. Each unit comprises one common share and half of a purchase warrant, exercisable at C$0.55 after 60 days. Paradigm Capital Inc. and Raymond James Ltd. are the co-lead agents.
Additionally, Camino is engaging in a non-brokered placement of convertible debentures, expecting to secure C$9.5 million. These bear an interest of 10% annually and can be converted to common shares at C$0.48 apiece before five years. The funds aim to support projects in Peru and refinance obligations related to the Puquios Project in Chile.
The offerings, pending TSX Venture Exchange approval, highlight Camino's strategy to bolster its copper exploration initiatives across South America.
