Camino Minerals Reports Exploration Progress at Los Chapitos
Camino Minerals Corporation has announced recent exploration results at the Los Chapitos Copper-Silver project in Peru. This includes significant drilling, mapping, trenching, and sampling at the La Estancia and Diva copper mineralized trends. The company, partnering with Nittetsu Mining Co., plans further drilling in 2025, focusing on large-scale manto-type copper-silver deposits. Los Chapitos, located near Chala, Arequipa, exhibits geological similarities with northern Chile's Cu-Ag belt.
The recent 996.7m drilling at Pampero expands Los Chapitos’ exploration to 27,624 meters. Most historic drilling has occurred along the Diva Trend. Results show substantial copper oxides at Pampero with copper grades up to 0.5% and silver at 3.15 ppm. Rock samples revealed copper grades up to 3.8% alongside silver. Exploration continues along the La Estancia fault aiming for new economic discoveries.
