CANEX Metals Confirms New Gold Exploration Targets in Arizona
CANEX Metals Inc. has announced the results of a surface exploration program at the Gold Basin and Gold Range project in Arizona. The program, aimed at validating historical data and identifying new exploration targets, involved the collection of 98 rock samples and 135 soil samples. These efforts have revealed significant mineralized targets between the Cyclopic deposit and the WestGold target.
Among the findings, the Ring Bear target showed 2.54 g/t gold over 13 meters, Golden Chalice yielded 14.83 g/t over 1 meter, and West Chalice returned 12.15 g/t over 2.7 meters. These targets are part of an 8-kilometer trend of oxide gold zones with favorable gold grades, yet none have been drill tested before.
President and CEO Dr. Shane Ebert highlighted the potential for large-scale mineralization surrounding high-grade veins. The company is advancing drill permitting and planning further exploration to unlock the district's potential. An exploration permit application is being prepared for several sites, indicating an aggressive exploration phase soon.
