Court Decision on Casino Guichard Perrachon Case
On January 29, 2026, Casino Guichard Perrachon faced a significant legal decision. The Paris Criminal Court acquitted the company of stock price manipulation charges. However, it imposed a fine of €40 million related to private corruption and market manipulation activities from 2018 and 2019. Notably, €20 million of this fine is suspended.
The company has expressed its intention to carefully evaluate its options moving forward and has not ruled out the possibility of appealing this verdict in the Paris Court of Appeal.
