CCL Industries Reports Record Results for 2025 Second Quarter

CCL Industries Inc. announced its second quarter results for 2025, highlighting a 4.8% increase in sales, reaching $1,934.6 million. Organic growth contributed 2.0%, alongside 1.0% from acquisitions and a 1.8% positive currency impact. Operating income rose 6.1% to $322.1 million, with a 16.6% operating margin.

Adjusted basic earnings per Class B share were up 8.0% to $1.22, despite basic earnings declining due to a revaluation gain in 2024. The company returned $155.8 million to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. Net earnings were $213.1 million, down from $279.5 million in 2024, mainly due to a $78.1 million revaluation gain in the previous year.

The CCL segment posted 4.7% organic sales growth. Avery experienced a decline, challenged by tariff costs. Checkpoint and Innovia saw improvements, particularly in Europe and the Americas.
