CDTL Showcases Advanced E-Drive and EMB Technologies at IAA 2026

At IAA Transportation 2026, CDTL unveiled its latest innovations for commercial vehicles, featuring distributed electric drive axles and electromechanical braking (EMB) systems. These technologies are suitable for heavy-duty trucks, city buses, and next-gen transit systems. Located at Hall 21, Stand D37, CDTL's presentation underscored proven e-drive solutions, EMB systems entering vehicle applications, and expanding technologies like drive-by-wire and brake-by-wire.

The EA5000NP electric axle boasts oil-cooled motors, a two-speed transmission, and offers electronic differential control. This axle handles 800 V configuration, yielding up to 660 kW of rated power. For demanding tasks, the EA4800N axle offers substantial torque in a 6x4 dual-drive setup.

CDTL also highlighted the EA1100K system for innovative transport, capable of all-wheel steering and a 100% low-floor architecture, implemented in countries like China and Türkiye. The EMB system enhances vehicle efficiency, lightening weight by 100 kg and reducing braking distance and energy consumption significantly.
