DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft Adjusts Capital Increase Strategy

On May 29, 2026, DWK Deutsche Wasserkraft AG announced a significant change in its capital increase strategy. The Management and Supervisory Boards decided to lower the subscription price for a capital increase from EUR 1.80 to EUR 1.10 per share. This adjustment is based on the current investor demand and excludes shareholders' subscription rights.

The change in strategy results in the reduction of the issue volume to a maximum of approximately EUR 655,000. As a consequence, DWK has had to forgo the acquisition of the Simsfossen and Nunelva run-of-river power stations in Norway, planned since November 2025, due to insufficient funds. A break-up fee of around EUR 45,000 has been agreed with the sellers.

This decision marks an important shift in DWK's financial strategy as it adapts to market conditions. The company continues to navigate the complexities of capital acquisition while managing its existing commitments.
