Charwood Energy deploys a biomass boiler project in Gaillac
Charwood Energy, a company specializing in biomass energy recovery, announces a new contract through its subsidiary Energy&+ with the Trifyl union. This project is part of the installation of two wood-fired boilers for the Gaillac district heating network (Tarn), providing heating and hot water to twenty buildings. The use of local biomass, primarily wood and green waste, aligns with ADEME's decarbonization objectives for 2030.
The €1.6 million project will begin in late 2025, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2026. It will save 1,800 tonnes of CO2 per year. The system includes storage, conveying, combustion, and filtration technologies, supporting the local energy transition.
