CHERY VPD Launches a New Era of Intelligent Parking

On April 22, 2026, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. unveiled the CHERY VPD during its world premiere under the theme "Tech. For Family" in Beijing. This new technology introduces two main functionalities: One-Tap Departure and One-Step Homecoming, aimed at addressing global parking issues faced by 93% of drivers.

One-Tap Departure allows vehicles to autonomously navigate out of parking spaces with a single app tap, avoiding obstacles efficiently. Meanwhile, One-Step Homecoming simplifies parking in residential garages, allowing drivers to leave their cars without concerns. Once activated via the app, the car independently finds parking and adapts if spaces are taken, optimizing time for family moments.

The VPD's capabilities were showcased by Executive Aaron Zheng through various tight parking scenarios. The technology will be available on TIGGO 7 and TIGGO 8 models in the Middle East and Southeast Asia by 2026, promising improved mobility, safety, and convenience.
