Circus SE Launches Defence Subsidiary for AI Robotics Expansion

Circus SE, a leader in dual-use AI robotics, has launched Circus Defence SE, a subsidiary focused on expanding its autonomous AI robotics in the defence sector. The new entity will build upon Circus's existing technologies, aiming to develop systems like autonomous medical supply units and centralized counter-drone infrastructures.

Headquartered in Munich, the company plans to expand its defence product portfolio beyond troop supply, using its CA-M autonomous system as a foundation. This initiative will harness Circus's relationships within European defence and NATO structures to apply its expertise in AI and robotics effectively.

The company is in the process of setting up dedicated management and development teams to drive growth. Strategic investments and a potential public listing for Circus Defence are under consideration, following Circus's recent expansion into Ukraine.
