Circus SE to Acquire Belgian Robotics Firm Alberts

Munich-based Circus SE has announced a binding agreement to acquire the Belgian food robotics company Alberts. Alberts, established in 2015, is noted for its patented autonomous food production systems and serves major clients like Danone, Decathlon, and Sodexo across six countries. This acquisition is expected to immediately boost Circus SE's revenue this fiscal year.

Alberts' technology will augment Circus SE's existing robotics portfolio, which primarily serves large-scale mobile defense applications. Alberts' systems, compact at about one square meter, fit space-constrained environments, allowing for dense deployment.

The transaction will be finalized with the issuance of Circus SE shares, dependent on share price performance and due diligence outcomes. The Alberts team will continue to support Circus' growth. The deal is anticipated to close by the end of Q2 2026, pending customary conditions.
