Circus SE Secures Mercedes-Benz as First Automotive Client for AI Robotics

Circus SE, a technological leader in AI robotics, has announced its first automotive sector client for its autonomous meal production robot, the CA-1. Starting in summer 2026, Mercedes-Benz Gastronomie GmbH will implement this system at their Sindelfingen plant. The AI-driven robot will enhance canteen capacity, ensuring consistent service during peak and shift hours without replacing human staff.

The CA-1 system combines industrial-grade robotics with AI-native software, facilitating an efficient, fully autonomous meal production process. With a compact footprint, it can produce over 500 dishes per ingredient load, integrating processes like dispensing, cooking, cleaning, and packaging into a closed loop. This technology not only offers high-quality meal consistency but also aligns with sustainability goals through minimized food waste.

The move marks Mercedes-Benz as the first automotive company to utilize Circus's innovative technology, underscoring a step towards integrating advanced robotics in automotive industry practices.
