Comforte AG enables quantum-resistant pseudonymization for their Data Protection Suite
Wiesbaden, 07/09/2024 - In its latest SecurDPS (Data Protection Suite) release, Comforte AG introduces significant innovations to enhance security, monitoring, and reliability. A key addition is the quantum-resistant configuration of Comforte's pseudonymization and tokenization algorithms.
Quantum computing threatens traditional encryption, especially for long-term data security. The new algorithm, FAST (Format-preserving Addition Substitution Transformation), protects sensitive data from quantum threats, adding an important layer of security without replacing public key infrastructure (PKI).
The update also includes enhanced logging features for improved application monitoring and data governance, fulfilling PCI DSS requirements. Additionally, it supports data protection across more operating systems and environments commonly used by financial institutions.
