Commerzbank Annual General Meeting Scheduled for May 2025
Commerzbank AG has announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM) is set for 15 May 2025. This year's AGM will be an in-person event at the RheinMain CongressCenter in Wiesbaden, moving away from the virtual format used from 2020 to 2024. Key agenda items include a proposed dividend distribution of €0.65 per share and the election of new Supervisory Board members.
The dividend decision follows a share buyback program conducted between November 2024 and March 2025, totaling €1 billion. Both moves are part of the bank's strategy to return approximately €1.73 billion to shareholders for the 2024 financial year.
Additionally, the AGM will vote on adjustments to the remuneration system for directors, which incorporates long-term incentives. New candidates for the Supervisory Board, including Sabine Lautenschläger-Peiter and Michael Gorriz, will also be up for election.
