Compagnie des Alpes (CDA) has been chosen to manage La Plagne, the world's largest ski resort. The Syndicat Intercommunal de la Grande Plagne selected the bid from its subsidiary, Société d'Aménagement de La Plagne (SAP). The 25-year Public Service Delegation (DSP) contract represents approximately €5 billion in cumulative revenue.

This contract covers the operation of the ski area, the management of the slopes and ski lifts, as well as intra-resort transport and the bobsleigh track. SAP collaborated with local partners to strengthen its offering, notably with the ESF ski school in La Plagne and the transport companies Loyet and ABD Voyages.

Dominique Thillaud, Director General of the CDA, expressed his satisfaction with this choice, emphasizing its strategic importance. The public service delegation agreement will take effect in 2027, strengthening the CDA's position in the mountain sector, while taking environmental criteria into account.
