HyProMag USA Expands Agreement with Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions
CoTec Holdings Corp. has announced that its joint venture, HyProMag USA, extended its feedstock supply agreement with Intelligent Lifecycle Solutions (ILS). ILS is securing neodymium iron boron feedstock from hard disk drives at sites in Williston, South Carolina, and Reno, Nevada.
ILS will also expand procurement to include other NdFeB sources such as electric motors, wind turbine magnets, and speaker assemblies. A joint "Technical Procurement" team will accelerate purchases and introduce a new HDD magnet separation system.
HyProMag USA plans to deliver these machines to ILS sites by the end of December 2025. This collaboration aims to enhance the recycling of strategic materials in the U.S. and support HyProMag’s recycling technology.
