Coupa and Celonis Unite to Enhance Spend Management
Coupa Software and Celonis have announced a new collaboration aimed at transforming spend management through enhanced process intelligence. The partnership integrates Celonis’ Process Intelligence with Coupa’s spend management platform, aiming to streamline procurement workflows and eliminate inefficiencies.
Leveraging Celonis' expertise in process intelligence, the integration provides a deeper operational context to Coupa’s AI agents. This allows companies to identify and correct inefficiencies, such as maverick buying and invoicing errors, more effectively. The collaboration empowers businesses to transition from manual operations to a more automated, strategic approach.
Salvatore Lombardo, Coupa’s Chief Product & Technology Officer, emphasized the importance of integrating rich data and context to optimize AI agents' effectiveness. This integration not only enhances decision-making but also fuels agent-to-agent collaboration within the spend management process.
Dan Brown from Celonis highlighted that the partnership provides AI systems a comprehensive understanding of procurement operations, thus unlocking greater value from AI investments. Coupa’s Eric Washer underscored the transparency and value the integration brings, addressing fragmented system challenges.
The Coupa App Marketplace facilitates easy integration for businesses, enabling them to harness the full power of process intelligence without the need for costly developments. Attendees of the Coupa Inspire event in Las Vegas can learn more about this collaboration at the respective booths.
