Financial results of Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée as of June 30, 2025
Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée reported a positive balance sheet for the first half of 2025, despite an uncertain economic climate. Outstanding loans increased by 1.2%, while on- and off-balance sheet deposits grew by 4.3%. This momentum was driven by an increase in term deposits and life insurance, which recorded increases of 12% and 3.5% respectively.
Net banking income increased by 4.9%, reflecting an increase in commission and portfolio management revenues. Operating expenses also increased by 4.5%, driven by continued investments and the digitalization of services. However, the cost of risk increased sharply by 38.8%, particularly in the corporate market.
Despite these factors, consolidated net income declined by 7.6% to €61.7 million. Finally, Crédit Agricole Atlantique Vendée continues to invest in its infrastructure and digital solutions, with reforms aimed at meeting the region's future needs.
